Adjunct Professor
Ruby A. Batimana is currently serving as the Evaluator for the SAMHSA grant in partnership with The Robert Young Center/UnityPoint. She also teaches for Orion Technical College.
Her experiences in the Air Force, working with different nonprofit organizations, and advocating for the underserved led her to pursue and receive her Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law and Policy from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Her passion for public health, social justice, equity, and her drive for public service pushed her to work and further her education. Her public health experience includes community health, epidemiology, environmental health, health policy and management, health promotion and communication, and maternal and child health.
